Manufactured from high temperature polypropylene, the McAlpine inline running trap features an anti-syphon system, drawing air through its valve to neutralise symphonic pressure before it reaches the trap seal, providing the equivalent of a ventilated system. The major advantage of using an anti-syphon trap is they are much quieter and eliminate gurgling
